all orders are bound by these term, in ordering you agree with the following and accept that this is not a finite list.

THE PRODUCT

Cakes should be consumed within 5 days of receipt and kept refrigerated once cut. All cakes come with best before date and allergen stickers.

Cookies have a shelf life of 1 month if kept in an airtight container.

ALLERGENS

Please discuss any allergies or special dietary requirements with us before making payment.

All Marble & Milk items are baked to order.

In the cake studio we handle nuts and gluten.

Full allergen details can be found on the product packaging.

DELIVERY

We will attempt delivery to an address and postcode submitted at checkout, and cannot accept liability for late or failed delivery due to an incorrect address. If you are unsure of an address or postcode, please check it using a postcode finder before ordering.

Bar weddings (and some events) all cake deliveries will be attempted between 11-3pm. It is your responsibility to ensure the cake can be received. There will be one attempt made, after this you will have to arrange a time to collect your order. You will be required to pay additional P&P to have it redelivered.

There are no refunds for missed collections or deliveries.

CANCELLATIONS - ORDERS

If you want to cancel your order please be quick, as once we’ve baked your items we can’t offer a refund or take cancellations. Cancellation must be made within 24 hours of placing your order. For custom orders, as stated the deposit is non-refundable and monies outside of this will be returned to you. For web orders you must email us at hello@marbleandmilk.co.uk making us aware of your cancellation. All web order refunds are subject to a nominal refund fee. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.

CUSTOM ORDERS

We require payment in full before we can commence a custom order. When an order is placed we will block off time to complete it and will turn down other requests to ensure we have the capacity for your order. We may also order in special supplies for your order. For these reasons neither the deposit nor the final balance are refundable.

We are not liable for the dispatch times of third parties nor are we liable for the delivery times of royal mail and other such parties. If it is delivered late there is no refund for this and not our liability.

We cannot offer refunds or accept returns if you do not like your order.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the balance is paid on time. Unfortunately we are unable to issue payment reminders. In the same breath you do not need to remind us to bake your cake.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Alterations and amendments must be submitted via email no later than 4 weeks prior to the booked date.

We may be able to make alterations after this time but only where design and time permit. Alterations requested less than 4 weeks before completion may not be possible or subject to a surcharge.

We reserve the right to change the design at any point if circumstances beyond our control compromise the quality of the finished product. e.g. weather conditions. We will let you know of any such changes and we will do our best to keep changes minimal.

REFUNDS

If you’re unhappy with any of our items you must notify us via email. Complaints should be sent immediately upon receipt of the product. Evidence of any faults, damages or discrepancies should be included. Any refunds will be given entirely at our discretion. There are no refunds on discounted products. We may request that you send the product back to us and provide proof of postage so that we can fully determine the issue.

All refunds are subject to a nominal fee. This applies to every web purchase.

DISCOUNT CODES

Discount codes received from this website or our newsletter are valid on website products only, and not our corporate/custom cookies service, unless stated otherwise.

Discount codes can be revoked at anytime without prior warning.

Items purchased with a discount code are non-refundable.

LATENESS

We reserve the right to charging a £25 late fee, while we understand things happen you are given an hour to collect your order. Any later than this you will be charged a £25 late fee. This will need to be paid to release your order to you. If you are too late and/or do not pay the late fee, you will be free to collect your cake on the next date available, which is usually the next working day but cannot be guaranteed.
